Syllabus For Three Months Foundational Diploma Program In Photography
The objective of Three Months Diploma Course in Photography is to provide participants with a foundational understanding of the art and science of photography. This program is designed to introduce students to the technical aspects, creative techniques, and practical applications of photography. The course caters to both aspiring photographers seeking to explore fields like commercial, fashion, street, landscape, wildlife, portrait, and photojournalism, as well as hobby enthusiasts looking to enhance their skills for personal satisfaction. Introduction to Photography
History and Evolution of Photography, Role of Photographer in Society, Different Genres of Photography
Camera and Lens Mechanics
Types of Camera (DSLR, Mirrorless, Point-and-Shoot ),Anatomy of a Camera, Types of Camera Sensors (APS-C and Full Frame), How camera works, Understanding Different Lenses (Wide Angle, Telephoto, Macro), Lens and Focus Techniques: Manual vs. Autofocus, Choosing the Right Equipment for Different Scenarios, Concept of Lens Compression.
Basic Photography Techniques
Exposure Triangle: Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO, Manual Mode and Exposure Control, Metering, White Balance, Colour Temperature, Depth of Field and Focus Techniques, Composition Rules, Balancing of Frames, Perspective through Lenses, Types of Balance.
Basic Lighting Techniques
Types of Light ,Photography in Natural Light, Introduction to Studio Lights , Strobes vs Continuous Lights, Types of Light Modifiers, Basic Lighting Techniques with Strobes (Key Light, Fill Light and Back Light), Use of Reflectors.
Creative Lifestyle and Outdoor Photography
Photography for Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, Shutterstock), Photography for Vacation and Personal Moments, Photography for Personal Events, Nature Photography.
Field Work & Assignments
The Three Month Course includes a combination of outdoor assignments, photo walks and studio work designed to encourage hands-on learning.

Coffee Table Book
From the final project the best pictures will be selected for Coffee Table Book which is a Visually Appealing Book designed primarily for display on a Coffee Table or in a Visitors Room.
